Concerned netizen and well-known Pro-Duterte blogger Krizette Laureta Chu requested Rappler CEO Maria Ressa to prove her statements of harassment as the actual reason for the case filed against her, even with the facts that Ressa is currently facing tax evasion case filed by the BIR.
Krizette Chu claimed that if Maria Ressa states that the case filed against her was because of Rappler’s expose on the drug war, Ressa should support her statements with proof.
The experienced blogger mentioned that she doesn’t remember any good and memorable Rappler piece, even if breaking news, expose, feature that shone the light on the drug war.

Question: Rappler CEO Maria Ressa claims harassment is real reason for cases filed against her… cases that any lawyer may see is based and rooted on fact.
She says that it’s because she did exposés on the drug war.
But I dont remember any great and memorable Rappler piece, whether breaking, news, exposé, feature, that shone the light on the drug war.
All theyve been doing is debunking stories that nobody’s ever heard of. Or attacking Mocha.
Inquirer, to me, has been more aggressive reporting stories re drug war.
They even had their own Kill List, bannered dramatically shot photos, and has a higher “circulation” and engagement than Rappler.
Did I miss certain Rappler stories that Maria Ressa claims to be so groundbreaking she is now harassed?
