Mayor Benjamin Tesoro of San Manuel, Tarlac foiled the town’s special event of the 86th birthday of the late Sen. Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. while he slammed the Aquino’s for the “neglect” of his town, especially at the time of the term of former Pres. Noynoy Aquino, the son of the late Sen. Ninoy Aquino.
Throughout the introduction of Sen. Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino, Mayor Benjamin Tesoro, shocked the crowd when he revealed that the Aquino family “did not do anything” for San Manuel, a 4th class town in the Province of Tarlac.
Based on Mayor Tesoro for the past few years he obtained complained relating to being snubbed by the ex-President.
Mayor Tesoro said to Sen. Bam Aquino that “The market I asked your cousin to build… It never happened. I caught the ire of one of the councilors for failing to put up a market,” Mayor Tesoro said.
“I was advised to write the Senate and I complained to them about your cousin. I told them he was no good. He is from Tarlac but San Manuel is the poorest Tarlac town and he did nothing to help us,” he added.
Mayor Tesoro apologized to the senator for the rant, however he stated “this is the truth.”
“This is an opportunity for me to say I hope you can redeem yourself. This town has genuine love for your family,” Mayor Tesoro added.
During Sen. Bam Aquino’s reaction to Mayor Tesoro he claimed that the town Mayor was “carried away by his frustrations,” however he continued to be a true friend of his family. Sen. Aquino actually reminded everybody that Mayor Tesoro definitely loves Ninoy Aquino, because he was certainly one of his uncle’s scholar.
