Leni Robredo gets jeers from lawyer Glenn Chong and La Salle Prof Contreras for requesting PRRD to clarify P7 .16 national debt

“It’s better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than open it and remove all doubt.”

This is exactly the type of comment Leni Robredo has been obtaining lately on Facebook for her penchant of creating statements on every matter outside her competence.

Instead of showing up knowledgeable in the eyes of the public, Robredo happens to be the laughing supply on social media.

For those who missed it, Robredo wanted President Duterte to clarify the P7 .16 national debt as per PhilStar’s headline lately.

When Leni Robredo’s headline-grabbing declaration came to lawyer Glenn Chong’s notice, he wasted no time at all in roasting Robredo on Facebook.

In the Facebook post, Chong lectured the VP on funds deficit and also national debt revealing her stupidity and then ignorance being a legislator.

Read Chong’s viral FB post below:

WALANG KATAPUSANG PAGKAKAMALI

Kaya this vicious cycle goes on and on.

La Salle professor Dr. Antonio Contreras couldn’t assist however create a comment on Facebook that Leni Robredo’s inadequate math skills is becoming an embarrassment.

Economics graduate yan ng UP ha.”

At the same time, social media blogger MJ Quiambao Reyes reminded Robredo that quietness is better than speaking when you know nothing.

MADAM,

As the saying goes, “It’s better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.”

Of the 7.16T, 6.4 of that was inherited (some 4T, accdg to Foreign Debt Coalition & as reported by Rappler, were incurred by previous admin). So, how about asking B.S. Aquino how our national debt ballooned during their time?

Thereafter, look around you. Open your eyes: There are thousands of on-going infrastructure projects nationwide. Yes, thousands of farm-to-market roads, bridges, seaports, airports, terminals, etc. It does not take a genius to actually see and understand where the 700B+ (debt incurred by current admin) goes.
