President Duterte accepts Red Carpet welcome and Military Guard of Honor in his arrival in Jordan

President Rodrigo Duterte, Davao City Mayor Inday Sara along with the other members of the Philippine delegation had been warmly welcomed in their arrival to the Kingdom of Jordan.

The Philippine delegation arrives at the Queen Alia International Airport in Amman on board a Philippine Airlines chartered flight PR001 from Israel on September 5, 2018, to develop the connection between Philippines and then Jordan.






Duterte who’s the very first Filipino leader to visit Jordan was highly welcomed by the Philippine Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Ambassador Akmad Sakkam and also Escort of Honor to the President and Ministry of Social Development Minister Hala Lattouf. Some other Jordanian government officials and also members of the dignitaries are also show to welcome President Duterte on his historic travel.

From the Airport, the Filipino chief quickly visited the Intercontinental Hotel in Amman where President Duterte will stay throughout his visit.

The President is scheduled to meet with King Abdullah II of Jordan Thursday at Al Husseinieh Palace, following a welcome event by lunch.

President Duterte and also King Abdullah were planned to personally watch the arrangements between Jordan and Philippines.
